If she heard someone say that one more time, she swore her head would explode. So she was a witch, so she came from an ancient and powerful line, so she had really cool powers, none of it meant anything if her entire life was planned for her. Mysti wondered how it was possible with all the magic she had that she still seemed to have no choice in her life.
"So you have one month to pursue other interests..."
The rest of the sentence blurred into oblivion, Mysti questioned her guardian until she was absolutely sure of what that meant. Rather than complaining that it was only one single month out of her entire life, she smiled.
Her guardian sighed and in the blink of an eye vanished.
"A whole month with no guardian to watch, plan, and critisize me. A month where I can enjoy the world as long as I cover my tracks." She spun until she was dizzy, "I can't wait until tomorrow."
OOC so consider that magic exists, there are witches and wizards and that their lives overlap humans lives. Mysti has one month where she doesn't have to live up to her family history. She has one month among humans to be free, before having to marry someone she has never met for a deal that was made long before she was born.
