Yes, I made a new thread. I'm sorry, I'm sick and just too dang lazy to dig up the correct old thread

OK- a few people have notified me that there stories are done. Good job!!!

There is no schedule yet, and I probably won't make one up 'on time'- the deadline of March 1st is also my birthday! But I would like everyone to post on this thread when you're ready to be "scheduled" and I'll do it soon after the deadline. This is sort of an unoficial deadline extension- hopefully you are all done and just going to use it to tweek your revisions

Sweetl, I'm struggling like hell with my story over here. The story is there, but I can't find the time to commit it to typed words. I'd still love to be a part of this but as of now, I have nothing for you. How extended can an extended deadline be if you put me way back in the queue?

I'm here, and still going at 8500 plus. It's there, it's just a matter of getting the words down and doing some quick editing. Cant and I are talking via Pm about the illustrations. Remember to give us the opening statement, the part where it's noted that it's the Magic in America challenge submission, or do you want us each to write our own?

Some of the PM's I got were accidentally erased by me when I got a bit to gung ho about cleaning out my box. So if you're not on this list and you've already notified me that you're done, I appologize.

If you're not done yet, I can put you toward the back, that's fine. I'd like to here from a few more folks though before I make a schedule.

If you could delay me about 2 weeks I would personally be very gratefully.And if you could PM us the final scheadule when you finish it that would be helpful too to people who may be abducted by rogue Cuban monkeys for a bit of time out of an attempt to avoid having to grade and take all these damn finals.

I'm still not finished. Haven't written much on it either. Had sleeping trouble and pretty much been in a walking coma for a few days. Back on schedule with that, but not the story.

ANd here it is, Friday, the weekend, and I still have a lot to do....

I think chain stories are elegible. I never really thought of that.

We will announce the 3 winners on April 19. This contest will coexist with the usual monthly contest. Stories may only win one or the other, not both contests simultaneously.
