After entering the thread of Tolyk, the statement of authenticity melted the flesh off his bones.

"Oh God, what havoc and mayhem my creation hath wrought," he cried into the night. Screaming, howling, and fuming he wept and no more would he try something entertaining and fun.

So he instead became Blooper Man, superhero extraordinaire and maker of fine blooper reels.

I don't think anyone meant to be offensive. I understand what you are trying to achive. And I had books like that as a child myself. They were fun. But in this sort of arena it's just a little to simple. (again no offense intended)

Coming up with words that fit into a story you can see doesn't make for much of a game with multiple people playing unless the point is to make it as bizzarre a story as you can make it.

What makes the other game intriguing is the simle fact that you don't know what the text of the story is. So while you are choosing words that fit the technical description you have no way of knowing what it will do to the story itself. The results are bizzarre enough to leave you in hysterics without trying.

Example:

One line ine a story by your game rules would read:

Tommy sat on a <noun> eating <noun>.

Now fill in the blanks with something absurd:

Dildo and KY jelly

It may end up funny. But it was intentional.

What if you had no Idea what the rest of the sentance was?

You put those words or even something far more mundane at random, essentially, into a story and is even funnier simply because the rusult is unexpected.

So ease up. No one is out to get you. Tomorrow, when I'm fully awake, I'll come in and try my best your way. We'll see what happens.

Yes, it was to make up a unique, silly/fun story. Thus, the instructions on my very first post. Once the story got to a point that it couldn't be added onto, a person could start a new story however, and then people could add onto that one. Hell, could even use the same character, just throw him into a different situation, and the point of it was to try to keep it in an Erotic theme, since we are all erotic writers. But to have fun with it.

Dranoel, no offense meant here, but I don't take appologies from a person that wasn't involved in the incident.. nor does one person ever have the ability to speak for everyone else. I let them know that this was my game, if they wanted to play, they could play my way. I knew not of the other thread when I created this one, as I said. I should've just called this "fill in the blank and add along to the story" but that was too long a name and not as interesting sounding.

Besides, I've already said, everyone just ignore this damn thread, don't bother playing it tomorrow, whether you are awake or not. Lucifer played it for laughs, and I filled his out just for the hell of it. This one can get deleted for all I'm concerned.

Also, my instructions weren't as clear as I could've been, like stating that we should keep it in the erotica theme.. as I stated at the time, it was 5 AM and I was about to pass out with exhaustion. C'est la vie

I started a thread then had it rammed down my throat. Who cares if my adlibs were different? That was the name of my game. If you don't want to play it that way, that is YOUR choice. Don't post in here then. Simple as that.

I replied to a direct question that you posed. I wouldn't think that my reply was such that it warranted your subsequent hissy fit. You made a fool of yourself all by yourself. Don't blame me for it.

The only clues I've gleaned from this thread are that you are hypersensitive and woefully ignorant as to how madlibs are supposed to work. There was a debate within the thread as to workings of madlibs and I offered my prespective on the subject. I will interpose remarks into discourses in any public forum that catches my fancy. If this troubles you, restrict your comments to private messages.

That would be because you don't know a single thing about me. If you want to judge me at all, go right ahead. I'll judge you right back from my experience thus far with you. That you are an arrogant snob and a busybody to boot. Fun isn't it?

This is why I tend to judge people AFTER getting to know them.


And perhaps you failed to read the rest of the thread? Where I described that maybe I might of done wrong in naming it Madlib, rather than fill in the blank. Maybe go back and read it all. Here, this is from before you ever even posted in here, I'll recap for you:

Thats not what I was trying to do with the madlibs, I wanted an active story, with blank spots for people to fill in, and add onto the story, like oggbashan did. He did terrific actually.

No point having two Madlib threads that are the exact same.. I didn't know the other one existed, and this was going to be the topic of the day for Abs, but there was already a topic, so I just made it a thread. *shrug*

Now, as to being hypersensitive, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.. Not really, though I do have some bad days where I just don't feel like putting up with some people's bullshit, or "knowitalls" like yourself. The instructions to my game were listed on my very first post, it was a deriviation of the game, you do know what that means right? The fact that you were stating URLs to informative sites was useless, because I knew exactly what I wanted MY game to be, I cared not if the madlibs were not like MY game. And perhaps you do not know everything there is to know about Madlibs, because others have agreed with me (in those private messages you talked about) that they too, played the books as a child where the story was in front of them. They were simple, and easy, but still could make a funny story. It all depended on your mood. But perhaps a snooty bitch like yourself doesn't understand moods?

Oh, and about making a fool of myself, I never once felt foolish, thanks all the same. But I certainly thought some similiar words about yourself.

That one is impossible to misread, and is not a "hissy fit". It is merely an informative statement, letting you know that I will not be responding to you in any form, at all.
