To me, the nominations mean more than the winning, because it is an acknowledgement of your contribution to the poetry site...

(I know that sounds like a sound bite from every awards program ever)

It may sound corny and cliche" but here are some many wonderful people who make valuable contributions in many ways....and Tess you are certainly one of them....

and how do you base your vote.....poetry submissions? critiques? threads? challenges? general support? avatars? hard to quantify all that stuff individually, much less together......

Guess what I'm saying is.... I won't vote for a winner.overall, but am glad to see people getting nods for their contributions....

oh...and Tess...I miss the camel toe av...

Don't apologize. I do not feel I have great poems most of the time. Sometimes I nail it (and I think most of us can tell when we do), but if you thought I always did I'd think you were lyin.

I and the poor wooden guy have been sucked up in what some call the real world.

Real is a relative term.
Me thinks of it simply as the *other* ...

'til someone figures out how to get paid (um... a living wage) for writing, rhyme and wit, that other place will no doubt continue to snatch us up (yep even you) every now and then, and use us.

Yikes, blush and OMG ... I used *snatch* in sentence .. and I sorta like being used. But I digress.

I dearly miss this place and those who inhabit it.

OT!!!! so wonderful to see you, I miss your advice on my silly works, and guess what? I got a new computer and it asked to be named and I named it OT and now, sometimes my norton antivirus tells me it thwarted an attemted attack on the system, by none other than, OT!!! it must have an autoimmune disorder, maybe lupus of the m0other board or something...anyway, great to see you!!
