I’m looking for a “we need to talk because I want to date other men” story. When wife confronts MC, he has a heart attack. She calls 911. While he’s hospitalized, their daughters visit him, but wife doesn’t. He finds out she’s still going on dates even though he’s recovering from a widow maker. He files for divorce. Wife fights it - daughters are pushing him to drop it - during the divorce hearing wife makes an impassioned plea that she made a mistake and wants him back (mc thinks judge is so moved by her statement he expects him to applaud her). MC then drops the divorce knowing he’s not going to win, but a couple days later shows up at the house with an RV. Daughters realize he’s just leaving - wife doesn’t get it yet. He drives off.
