I'm looking for a loving wives story where the working-class MC cop marries an upper middle class chick whose family looks down on him. She works on Wall Street, immerses herself in her job, he never sees her, suspects affair. One night, he and his partner see wife walking out of theater dressed to the nines with fabulous jewelry on rich asshole's arm. Street thugs try to rob them. Husband and partner draw sidearms, yell "Freeze!" Wife sees husband, yells "Mike, nooooo," thug's gun goes off, wife's head is blown off. MC sinks into major depression, fights his way back.
