Luxey is dead.

Sure I do, and I did. The kid will get over it and have a better chance at life because it happened when he was so young. Like it or not, it's the truth.

And it was ignored by me and everyone else. You are using someone's death to try to make yourself look good... you sicken me.

I'm going to choose to rememember her as the awesome tits posting, killswitch ball breaking, quick witted and unapologetic snarkmachine that made this place, and the rest of the world a little bit better while she was here. I didn't know her well, but I think that is how she would want it.

Wait...did you just say you're going to miss the poor little dead girl's tits?

She was an attractive gal.

I enjoyed watching Luxey being snarky, she seemed to be enjoying it.
I don't have av's on so I don't really have a visual image of her.
I do remember her being a really sweetie to someone here on lit who really needed help.

When people make changes in their lives, it isn't always a straight upward climb, it is usually more like a roller coaster that slowly, but eventually evens out in the new place. Unfortunately, not everyone gets there, or if they do, they don't always get the time to enjoy it.

I am sure it is absolute hell on her husband, son and family right now.
You don't really ever get over something like this, but eventually you get better at handling it. I wish them well.

I popped back in here after a forever away just to see if this is true. And I guess it is. RIP to the fabtabulous luxey. I hope that her journey is one of peace and love.

you weren't. her life was good. turned around. she had been living clean. she had a good job, she had a good family, she was creating a good life. I've seen the posts from friends, family, workmates, people she'd supported through narcotics anonymous, and her boss that prove she had been doing really well.

it's easy, when an addict takes a step back, to forget the thousands of steps they've taken forward. sadly, even one step back can have dire consequences... but that doesn't invalidate everything she had achieved.

nobody should picture her as some tragic, downward spiral of a life, because that's horseshit, a million miles from the truth. it was a life of hard fought progress and her future would have been beautiful.
:rose: good to hear.

You and me both kiddo, but it was Tombstone... ;) ;)

When he went ballistic (probably during a binge) he was always contrite and apologetic afterwards. He was smart enough that I put up with it.

YOU? Not so much! :p :p :p

I'll be your huckleberry. :p:cattail:

Somewhere in the US, a crack dealer is struggling to feed his family...

After I heard the news of Lux's passing I can't stop thinking about her and her young child. Another wee nipper that won't grow up with a mom. I hope he's got a couple people (grandparents maybe) that can step into some strong role model shoes. Jesus, poor kid! Got thrown a curve there boyo. You too Lux...

This is sad indeed. I had heard that she had turned things around. Thank you for that last post, Dolf.
