(looking for a female to play the step sister, PM me if interrested)
Jason Crowne
Age: 21
Black hair, very short, blue eyes, 6 feet tall with athletic body.
The funeral was held at Drury Heights chapel and was a simple affair. Jason Crowne sat along with a couple of cousins, an uncle and his step sister Stephanie. Usually called Steph.
John and Mary Crowne had been killed in a car accident the week before. Luckily Jason had been able to get a few days of leave from his marine company in Iraq to attend the funeral.
The Crowne's had adopted him when he was just a toddler. They had tried for years to conceive a child with no success. They took him in and loved him as their own baby. Two years later Mary gave birth to a healthy baby girl. Their luck was total. They had two children when they thought they would have none. The affection for Jason was not diminished even now as they had a child of their own blood.
Over the years Jason and Steph grew closer as brother and sister. None of them ever thought of that they where not blood relatives. When Steph started to draw the attention from boys Jason more often than not chased them away with threats. If that wasn't enough he got to use his fists on them. It was only one guy that he ever let near his step sister and that was Robbie Cohen. The best friend Jason ever had.
Steph showed no interrest for Robbie or any other of the guys. She considered Jason her guardian angel. Her protective net. When he was old enough Jason joined the marines. A young idealist who sought to protect USA and the world. The farewell to His parents and Steph was tearful from all involved. With Robbie it was just a handshake.
Now John and Mary was dead and gone and Jason was home. He wore his marine uniform wishing they could see him and be proud of his commitment. The priest gave a short speak before everyone stood up to get to the Crowne house for the reception. The house was his and Steph's now according to the testament.
When they arrive to the house, Steph get out of the car with a downward look. She say nothing as she walks inside. Jason sigh and feel the lump in his throat. The feelings of loss washes over him and his grip on the steering wheel hardens.
With determination he opens the car door and steps out of the car. He slowly walk up to the front door of the house, opens it and walk in. The hall and living room is full of family members and friend who Jason shake hand with. No sign of Steph though.
He goes up the steps to the second floor, stopping outside Steph's bedroom. The silent sound of sobs fill his ears and he gently open the door.
She is curled up in her bed with her arms around her legs. She have taken of her fancy blue dress and is only wearing her white cotton panties and bra. She doesn't seem to notice him.
Jason heart goes out to his step sister and he carefully approaches her and sit down on the edge of the bed.
"You need something?" He asks softly.
