I absolutely understand I am running a temp and fever dreams are wierd. I also accept that I am on a lot of medication, including some pain killers. But...

Flash Gordon? WTF?

I mean, bad 70's costumes, Ming the merciless, Voultan, barron, the Doctor, Dale? Everybody was there. And me!

I'm sleepy, but no way no how am I taking a chance on going back into that dream!

I haven't seen the movie in years, haven't thought about it, or anything. I really am siting here sumped as to where that dream came from.

Pass it to me! Pass it to me! I love that film. (I watched it over and over and over as a kid)

I have the most disturbing dreams when I'm not well....so I sympathise

Colly, if it wasn't a nightmare what's the prob? Go back in and have some fun. What was Dale wearing?

Perdita :)

p.s. do take care, get better soon

Wearing? A smile?

Like I said, it was most lurid. Not quite a nightmare, but defintely disturbing.

I loved it when it came out, but I haven't seen it or even thought about it in years. then suddenly...pow. Really strange.

Don't even try to analyse fever dreams - they are weirder than normal dreams by the nth degree!!

I had a nightmare the other night after spending days studying King Lear. I was hiding in this house, and I think it was a Greek villa. Goneril and Regan were there and they were in the process of pulling out this guy's eyes. It was really horrible. :(

Oooooooh, I hadn't even read King Lear for years when I had a dream where a guy from the office down the hall was King Lear. He had a dog named Pumpkin, and he and the dog came into my room and he stabbed me in the neck, which was when I woke up!

I'm telling you, Shakespeare really screws around with your mind...

Made me grin. I'd love to dream a Shakespeare play. But yeah, the eye gouging scene wouldn't be welcome.

I've dreamt ballets and operas, maybe tonight I'll land in Arden or Illyria with a sexy Hotspur. P. :)

Horatio has always been my preferred Shakespearean lad. That's for the sober moments. Mercutio to go roistering with. Actually, screw it, Mercutio and a tun of good wine for all occasions ;) Horatio to wake us up in the morning. I bet he cooks.

Ya know, Shang, now that I think of it there aren't all that many men in Shakespeareland that appeal to me as men. Horatio's a good friend but a bit dull for me as 'men' go. I'll stick with Hotspur, even though he dies too young. P. :)

I think I like the balance of a Horatio/Mercutio sandwich. Mmmm all of the best qualities in a delicious bundle. But then I always found intense loyalty intrinsically sexy for some reason.

Can't quarrel with Hotspur though ;)

Hehe. Quarrel with Hotspur. Agincourt. Longbows. Quarrel v. arrows. Oh never mind.

Actually, Hotspur is rather like your sandwich combo, mercurial and loyal to boot. P. :)
