The number of people who will get rid of their cars and ride a bike or even walk is so tiny a percentage of the total population that all they are doing is forcing the majority of people in vehicles onto ever more crowded, slower, congested roads.

This won't even make a piss in the ocean in terms of environmental benefit. Its nuts. We should be building more roads and better roads in anticipation of the future not getting rid of them.

I've noticed on some streets lately, that already had bike lanes, they are widening the bike lane and adding a painted buffer zone and then narrowing the driving lanes. These are busy traffic roads with few bikes on them.

I thought it was odd, annoying, and dangerous for drivers to be forced into narrower lanes. It didn't make sense, but apparently its part of some bizarre agenda. Wierd.

Take taxes from citizens to build cross-country infrastructure that is policed and managed by the government.

Connecting people makes the people diverse.

The connections made through interstate transit through those roads born from socialism will make them socialize with each other, which will, logically, through human desire, cause relationships of a sexual nature which will beget offspring and make them MORE diverse.
