Just think about it: Save Democracy by killing off those who disagree with me. I don't know if he could be arrested for this or not but, so far he hasn't even been fired. What do you think would have happened if he had said this about Obama?

It doesn't happen, and it's an histrionic call for trial and due process, not assassination (which also has been called for in the recent past). First, I did graduate from a state U. in CA, but not Fresno State. Second, the nut is described in the article as a professor. Third, he is not calling for due process and execution; he is calling for lynching and assassination. Neither the Fed. or CA uses hanging to kill criminals, but lynchers often do.

Fourth, I find it hard to believe that anybody believes this to be a sane person.

Do you defend that same freedom if someone said that about a minority or a religious group? Just curious.

The professor's comments might or might not be covered, but my criticism of him certainly is. As is your criticism of me. The first Amendment. is not absolute; there are limits, and they might have been exceeded by the prof.

ETA: The error-filled link you have posted calls for the arrest, trial, conviction and punishment of two specific people for specific acts, which might or not have been treasonous. They probably wouldn't have been, but the comments are very solidly covered by the First Amendment. The link in the original OP calls for a pogrom, with no basis in law, of tens of millions of persons.

If it's one crime, it would be the unsafe handling and/or storage of classified. There were many pieces of classified material, and it might be possible to charge her separately for each piece. I don't know exactly how it would be handled, and I'm sure the people calling for her incarceration don't know either, but the difference is irrelevant.

There is no question of her guilt, however, because she has admitted it and the presence of the info on her personal computer proves it beyond any possible doubt. I don't know how she has escaped prosecution. Maybe it is because such prosecution would be seen as vindictive and would serve no real purpose anyhow. Hillary has announced her retirement from public life, and this may be partly in exchange for an agreement not to prosecute.

If you want to argue the law, make sure you know what you're talking about first.

Hillary Clinton hasn't been charged with any crime, because there was no law against anything she did--and still isn't. Members of the Bush administration did the same as she did before she did it and members of the Trump administration are continuing to do the same as she did.
