Going on right now.

Full moon being covered by a smoky shadow moving up from the south.

So close to Halloween too...

don't you love it?

The moon fascinates me for some reason...

Well Doc, Boston is about to win the World Series so maybe that explains something.

It was wonderful and seems a little spooky to me too. It's been completely cloudy all day here and yet as soon as the eclipse begins, the sky clears and there's nothing but thin dark clouds wafting in front of it here and there.

Lovely.

If only I had the opportunity to make it more memorable, I would have.

:)

What do you think the problem is Lucky? That tat on your hip shouldn't turn anyone off. Hmmm

LMAO.

You wouldn't believe the shit I've gotten for that tattoo. No, it hasn't turned off any 'interested' parties yet, but my adornments are not the problem when it comes to memorable nights.

Say, are you free tonight? And do you mind tattoos?

Make that three.

So you'll go back to the mood thread and turn that frown upside down?

~lucky

p.s. Sorry for the hijack, Doc. I tried to think of more things to say about the eclipse, but came up empty. :(

Why would I want my head on upside down? That would look silly. ;)

For you, I'm not only free, I'm available. And tattoos make me har, er horney. ;)

Round up an eye-patch, sexy, and you're on.

watched some parts of the eclipse but what i really wanted to do:

drag a lounger down to the beach, line it with comforters... make love with the one i belong to and spend the night cuddled in one another's arms.

that was a thought anyway...

You don't need an eclipse for that.

No matter how many men walk on it or what sceince says, we're still all slaves to the moon in our hearts. It makes perfect sense to me to want to go out and make love beneath it, eclipse or not, and I have no doubt that the moon would heartily approve of such action.

I agree, Doc. Any thoughts on why the full moon is so much more appealing than a half or three-quarter moon? For the pleasure seeker and space dreamer, anyway?

Mab., that was sweet. Called to mind a past lover for me. I had a bedroom then with a wall of three windows, curved like a big bay window. The first time he stayed the night (and we stayed at it all night) I noticed the full moon in the window farthest from the bed (which was parallel to the wall of glass). As the night went by I caught the moon as it 'moved' from window to window, and all that time lit up my room (and my lover's face) with different shadow angles. I loved that sense of a celestial witness to our love making. P.
