I need to know some about lube. Me and my girlfriend live apart while I attend college, so there's no chance for sex. Add to that that I'm six inches around, and it's a pretty tight squeeze. I like tight pussy, but this is really tight...past pleasureable tight into painful, for both of us.

So I was wondering what kind of lubes work? Can you use Vaseline or baby oil? I'd be kinda hesitant to use them because I don't know if it would effect her skin or not. We don't use condoms because we were virgins the first time, and we've been together for three years. She's also on the patch. So that's not a problem.

Short of going out and buying something specific for sex, is there anything around the house that we could try? I think once we have some good sex, she'll loosen up and it won't be so bad.

For this type of thing, just use KY. It's likely the best type of lube for what you are looking for and while you may not have it around the house, it's sold at any drugstore.

Eros Bodyglide is an awesome lube. You will find it recommended on many of the Anal sex posts.... And boy does it work! Much better than the water based lubes like KY, IMHO. It's available in sex toy shops and in the lit store. Will make things MUCH easier for her. Good luck!

KY is ok, but a little goopy if you get the stuff in a tube. I kind of like it for anal though.

ID glide is nice - we use it pretty much.

Haven't tried any of the silicon-based ones yet.

I'd suggest babyoil - not so gloopy and good for any occasion - or location

Olive Oil. It works great as long as condoms aren't needed, and tastes better than baby oil

My favorite, far and away, is Astroglide. My experience with I.D. was that it tasted bad, but YMMV. (I haven't tried I.D. Glide, is that different?) I've heard good things about Wet from my gay male friends, too. But Astroglide is the best.

Crisco is definitely not an option for around a woman's delicate tissues.
