I recently got back together with my friend "L", who I mentioned here. She's still with the guy I mentioned in that post, but we've come to realize that she and I will always share a special sort of bond, and... well, long story short we've started fucking again. ;) I've told her about this place, and I'm hoping I can get her to start posting here.

The two of them haven't always been getting along lately, and it seems that every other week I'm comforting her because he upset her, but I will say this for him: He's gotten her to open her mind a great deal. One thing she loves now but would never had considered before is anal sex, which works for me because I love it.

I was with her earlier tonight, and we ended up doing anal, but didn't have any kind of decent lube. She ended up using vaseline, which did the job, but afterwards she told me it hurt her a bit. Naturally, I apologized, but she said it was OK, she was really into it, and it didn't really start to hurt until afterwards.

She and I are planning to go "toy" shopping together soon. It's going to be our Christmas present to each other. And we want to pick up some good lube, but neither of us is really sure what to get. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

BTW, it's also in my best interest, because we also want to pick up a strap-on so she can do the same thing to me.

We like silicone because it doesn't contain anything that can cause irritation or infection (a lot of lubes are full of alcohol, chemical preservatives, sugars, etc.), it's a multitasker, a little goes a long way (which is good for anal; a bunch of goop up there can cause problems!) and it doesn't dry out.

The one thing it's not good for is direct application on toys that contain silicone. For that, you just slip a condom over the toy (which you want to do anyway with toys that are porous/can't be sanitized w/ heat or a bleach solution) and then apply the lube. IMO, it's a very, very small con among a list full of pros.

There are lots of good water-based lubes out there, too, if you want to go that route.

Petroleum and other oil-based lubes aren't condom/latex- or vagina-safe and will ruin many toys. Stay away from Vaseline and baby oil, period.

Babeland has excellent primers on all types of lube.

I'd suggest shopping for lubes online. In my experience, you can get them MUCH cheaper than you can in sex stores. For instance, I was able to get a 16oz bottle of ID Millennium for $20 online, whereas a 4oz bottle of the same is that price locally. Same goes for toys, so when you go shopping, you might want to consider noting the names of the things that look interesting and then checking the reviews and prices online. Or, maybe you could go in ahead of time to note the prices on a few interesting items then see how those stack up to online prices. Unless, of course you're one of the few that has an unlimited budget! :D

stroke 29 is the best i find...Light and it goes a long way..good for anal or jerking off...try and see for youself....

Try using her mouth & tongue!

Ha ha.

I've been with a woman or two who loved it up the ass, and who pussy juice and/or spit was enough for. But this one only started loving anal, and the last thing I want to do is hurt her.

With some women, you can get away without using anything, but others need something help prevent any pain.

With my friend, the hard part is getting the head in. Once I get past that point, it's all good from there.
