A woman feels like she doesn't have the body shape to compete with you and sexy women. She knows that her husband loves her, but often sees him checking out other women.

She keeps herself covered; wearing loosing fitting clothes, usually pants and over-sized tops.

Her husband is constantly telling her that she has a nice looking body, but his words are lost on her especially since he like looking at other women.

....

She wants her husband to notice her instead of looking at other women. She is not in a position to workout and become a supermodel, or have something nipped, tucked, and plucked. What is she going to do?

Well, now............she needs to somehow learn that.........there are men out there who appreciate a somewhat more robust and rounded woman. Maybe she needs to have some stranger flirt with her or whistle at her.........or maybe just straight out proposition her?

Make Over!

She doesn't trust what her husband says, yet she doesn't feel sexy enough to show herself off...because of her own self image as well as her husband's wondering eye.

1) She needs to learn that men look. More than half the time, they might not even realize...
2) She needs to let someone pick her clothing, something that is daring and sexy.
3) Hair and makeup do over.

She needs to have someone else do these for her so that she can see that her self image was wrong. Making her feel more sexy and giving her the confidence she needs to showoff more- thus bring her husbands attention back to her. Fixing the catch 22 she's in.

I think this is a good plot....

She feels ugly and doesn't think she's all that. Now she usually takes small walks down the park and runs into this young hot hunk who strikes up a conversation with her. He immedietly falls in love with her sweet attitude and finds her very sexy.

They keep meeting at the park almost everyday and have long conversations. She eventually opens up to him and tells him she feels so unwanted by her hubby.

The hunk tells her she's hot and proves it to her by taking her back to his place and giving her the best orgasm of her life.

That night she comes home slips on a sexy red dress and returns the favor to her hubby by making him explode so hard that he never looks at another woman again :)

I really like that idea, especially if it is done right. She should be slowly seduced by the hunk. She resists but keeps going back until she loses control. The husband notices the change and thinks he finally got through to her. She lets him think that and their relationship is reborn stronger than ever.

I like this idea muchly, for several reasons. First, it feels more believable somehow, than just getting picked up by some hunky stranger. Also, it's something that would take place over a period of time, not just overnight, allowing for the sexual tension to build up.

However, I just can't see a man being the one to help her pick out clothes, it. Mebbe another woman? Perhaps someone beautiful, seductive and confident that our heroine has always admired and envied?

Depending on how much money she has and how much help she needs she might accually hire a personal shopper or fashion consultant. A day treatment at a spa and some professional stylists and over the course of one weekend she would have a whole new look.

Great idea.

The woman's friend who wears clothes that shows off the gifts she was born with. Ample 34C cups and 42 hips with lifted buns. The friend's clothes hide the parts that she is not too proud of, like belly she got from having 5 kids.

The friend asks the woman to go shopping with her. A the store the friend encourages the woman to try on different outfit. When she steps out to model the outfits to her friend she gets compliments from other women who are standing nearby. Her friend points out a man who is obviously staring. The woman realizes that the man is looking at her the same way she had seen her husband looking at other women.

The woman decides to buy a few of the outfits. She has on one of the outfits when she goes to meet her husband for lunch. He is star-struck. Even though women who he would normally look at pass by, her husband doesn't take his eyes off her. She also notice other men staring at her.

Her husband points out that she has always had the equipment, and now he is happy that she is showing it off.

Of course it does.

The reason she let herself get so dumpy in the first place is when they are at home the husband often slips in degrading comments about her figure. "Your boobs are too small, ever thought about having them surgical altered?"...things like that. Low self esteem and incorrect self image doesn't just come from no where.

Now that she has proved her husband wrong and proved to herself she is very attractive, she takes it to the next level of finding a lover or two.

funny, I picyured her with big boobs, and the insults would be much more brutal..."floppy cow udders" "underinflasted saggy ballons left over from halloween"

Well I was thinking more along the lines of comments a man wouldn't always consider to be rude or mean.

Things like while watching a horrible show like The Swan he starts talking to his wife about if she ever considered getting surgery than starts going into the points he thinks she needs it. Without really thinking about what he is saying to her on the deeper level. Maybe she does have big boobs...maybe he tells her he thinks a reduction would do her some good.

Things like that.

or maybe he keeps commenting on the firm ripe ones they see.

I was thinking of leaning towards the idea that Lexxx brought out; the husband is not a jerk. He knows she's hot, but hate the fact that she doesn't show it. He likes looking and she just isn't showing, but other women do.

I was working off the title of the post:

Low self esteem.

Not showing off a nice body is a side effect of how women feel about themselves. And that self image is usually brought on by the things other people have commented on. It doesn't have to out right seem mean, but they think about in and over analize it and than force feed it back as: I'm Ugly.

I see that way too much. But, somewhere they picked up that their actual figure doesn't match what they precieve as beautiful

Low self esteem could also come from having a family member who you think outshines you, or who got all the attention from her parents, etc. (Kind of like Gypsy Rose Lee)

She could have an older sister who was always a swan. Always had boys all over her, phone callls, dates, etc.

She matured more slowly, and has become a swan but still thinks she's the ugly duckling. Comments from her husand about her looking good, etc aren't cutting it for her because she feels he's saying that because he has to... and because he checks out other women.

Something else has to happen to break her out of the ugly duckling mode. Maybe the attention of someone else (can have it lead to sex with someone else or just her awareness that someone else lusts after her helps break that shell.) The scene at the shop mentioned above is a great idea.

Or perhaps at a "girls night out" with an old frend who comes into town while her husband's away on business. She is convinced by the friend to dress a little sexier, and she gets swarmed by attention at a club/bar.

Interesting idea, from either sex's perspective.
