Loving Wives Idea?

Hey everybody- Long time reader of the stories- you all do great work. I just found the Discussion board a few weeks ago and have been lurking ever since. Time to jump in, I guess.

I'm thinking about a story where a husband and wife move into a new neighborhood over the summer. They're in their late 20's, but he looks much older and she looks much younger, like a high school student type.
A lot of people in the neighborhood think they're a divorced/widowed father with a teenaged daughter. Husband has always had a "watch the wife" Fantasy, but never pushed it.
Over the summer some of the high school boys run in to the wife at the mall and start flirting with her, thinking she's their age. The wife is flattered, and gets a kick out of it, and one thing leads to another over the summer where she starts dating a a high school student, who starts coming over to the house to hang out.
Husband goes along with the idea, and hides here and there watching the wife and boyfriend in various activities.
Maybe in the fall the wife is able to enroll in High School ( I know, lots of logistical problems here) has various and assorted adventures over the year, culminating in going to the prom with some high school guy and being driven to the prom with her date by her husband/dad.
Any interest/suggestions/ideas from you folks?

maybe wife should really be 19? dropped out of high school to marry her older rich boyfriend, took a year off for an around the world honeymoon? That's why she's back in high school. And the boys think "Daddy" is really her Dad.

Maybe they discovered "play" while on the around the world, or maybe "Daddy" is the only man she's ever had, but the attention from her peers makes her wonder.....

Now you're talking. When I first read this thread I thought, "why couldn't he be considerably older than her", etc. It makes this possible story more believable.

I also like the idea of her hubby being the only man she's been with and now she's curious about her peers.

and he encourages the flirting..but how far does he really want it to go?

Well, now, that could be fun and possibly determine if this is a "loving wives" tale (as many have come to know it), or not. Maybe he enjoys the flirting and banter but has no idea how far things have gone, or how far she wants them to go?

but I think once he sees the potential, it excites him...

That would fall into the "loving wives" as many of us authors see the category.

on Lit, everyone is a virgin until they hit 18....since she knew her "Daddy" before that age, she never had anyone else.

Besides, I do know people who were in their early to mid twenties and virgins before marriage.

true, and you can play off on that her husband knows she is thinking about other men as he was her first and only. so its better to love and share then over power and lose. a l.w. story with a loving husband, what I would consider a positive story. his own personal porn movie...in the family room!

and what if the man is older, and feels he's not a good lover any longer....so he wants the wife to have a lover, someone for fun, but she returns to him?

and what if JPB wrote it .... and what IF it was the best story ever.... and hollywood picked up on it... and it was made into a major motion picture ... and what if that movie that was funded in part by some big name contributers of Hillary clinton's campaign?...... then it became a huge political issue in 2008 and the election became disputed and while we were all arguing Al Qeada hits us with a dirty small bomb.... and we respond with several Nuclear weapons..... which triggers WW3..... and then aliens from outer space attack ....
