anybody find it strangely amusing that the thread entitled "Slut!" had more replies/views than "A thread about love"?

what does this say about us as a people?

*Grumbling* The least you could do in my defence is reply to it! You know... Bump it back to the top... *Snickering*

I have been a slut most of my adult life, I would chose love any day.

After five beers, it was somehow easier to reply to a slut thread than a serious love thread.

Hey, it took me SIX beers to WRITE it! ;)

Did you read the thread about love though? It was sad. I didn't know what to say. :(

*Blushing.* Thats a very good compliment, in my oppinion.

just to add my two cents...

i think WE all respond more immeadiatly to the word "slut" more than "love"

... even i did.

Thanks again for the BUMP Poet. ;)

And yes, we all do respond to "Slut" quicker than "Love", its more "instantly gratifying" than love after all.

I would, as any male, respond to a girl touching my cock much faster than to a gentle, loving touch on my cheek. But in the long run, my heart wants the touch on the cheek more... Ya know?

An ass man huh?;)

Yes, sad that we knee jerk to the pleasures of sex. Sometimes I think sex, in our society, and abroad, has become more impersonal than a hand shake... When, all I know, is that I want the heart to heart contact that used to, and sometimes, still is part of it...

exactly, raven.

saturday night a friend of mine admitted to being attracted to me. by some bizzare way, we ended up having phone sex. this in turn led to her coming over sunday night.

here's the point. she kept going on and on about me making her feel "tingles" and whatnot. for me it was routine. i care about the girl and it certainly was a pleasurable experience, but most of the time i find myself kinda on auto-pilot.

sigh. am i making any sense?

Makes sence to me. I've been on auto-pilot a couple times before.
