I know, I know, I listen to Country Music too much, but I got the idea for this thread on the way to work this morning.

Would you take the finest supper in a beautiful restaurant with the best bottle of wine that money can buy - All Alone OR sitting on a blanket with a sandwich under a tree with the one you love.

Would you take a beautiful car worth over 200,000. knowing you will always be alone in that vehicle over sitting next to your one true love in an old 1/2 ton pickup.

Would you take the mansion on the hill, If you know that you will be alone, over the shack by the lake with the love of your life?

I have never been materialistic, that might have something to do with the lack of funds to be materialistic.:)
To me there is no contest as nothing can compare to the inner peace and happiness that being in love brings.

Love by all means

Although, it has been said:
Whoever says money can't buy you happiness, doesn't know where to shop

It is an age old question, but the choices you made are too simplistic and too B/W

Many people choose money, many people choose what they believe to be true love. How many relationships falter because of money or argue because of it

My mum used to say money will never make you happy but it sure will help you enjoy your misery

am i taking this too seriously ?

I'd much rather have a caravan in the hills
than a mansion in the slums

sorry...just reminded me of an old song i liked...

Breathe out so I can breathe you in...

Love of course, but it is so much easier and more fun if you have both. Believe me, I have been poor much of my life and it really sucks, but then I have been without love for even longer and that sucks too.

I've never been materialistic.........I would trade anything for a chance at true love.

 bluemuse

*sigh*
Love.
Though if I could have both... :D

btw: nothing wrong with country music.

Yup, absolutely NOTHING wrong with Country. Especially if you're talking about Lila McCann. She's SO cool. And...uh...HOT!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't think of anything better than love in my life....and if I could take a ride in a pick-up to a shack by a lake with a blanket under the tree.....sounds like a wonderful place to find love:rose:

hmm....I think I'ld rather go to the dog park and run around with my dogs then go to a shack with a guy right now....

Love, a mysterious and usually horrible thing...

And individual also.....chuckling

Of course anything that has a very up side is going to have some down side. If we're lucky we're balanced.
