Well, I'm about ready to head to the bars....celebrate in true Irish style! Actually *I* won't be, exactly, as I am playing DD to my friends who plan on celebrating in the true Irish style...but I'll be merry and have some good corned beef and cabbage! Yum!

And since Druce is always nagging at me cuz I don't smile enough...here you go Although you can't really see my loverly green eye shadow! Ah well...my non-Irish eyes are smilin'...

Ahhh, what a pretty sight. No matter that the eyes aren't Irish, they're smiling, and that's what counts. We hoisted a pint in everyone's honour for St Paddy's here, and have to confess that we can't figure out why we don't yet regard Guinness as a staple food.

Well, I did make it home safe and sound! Didn't end up having to drive anyone else around; they all had their own chauffers! I always have a great time out with my friends, even as the DD. Good company can never go wrong...even if I did get a bit melancholic because this was the last time I'll get to see a couple of them before I leave....*sigh* Have I mentioned how much I hate leaving people behind? I just want to take them all in my suitcases!

I don't know if my smile can get me everything...one of the bartenders had the cutest little shamrock temp tattoo on his neck that said "Kiss me, I'm Irish" on it...and he WOULDN'T let me kiss it! *sigh* I was so disappointed. All I wanted was to place one innocent little peck there...no teeth or anything!

I did have a wee bit of corned beef...YUM! No cabbage though...but 1 outta 2 ain't so bad!

I must be the hammered one, because I don't see any decorations. I do however love the "green underwear " decorations. There is something about a beautiful woman, smiling and showing her knickers that does things to and for me. Nice to see you had a good time. He should have let you give him a kiss. Maybe the missus was watching. Have fun in Germany. Your friends are only a few hours away. You can always visit, or they can. And I am sure that you will not be friendless in Germany.
