It had been over three months since the accident. Steve and his wife had been very passionate lovers for the last two years since their marriage. They had sworn to be with each other forever sharing in their love. Steve wanted nothing more from Chrissy Lynn and she wanted nothing but him. There had been many nights her screams of pleasure would be heard for hours on end, echoing throughout their house. His wealthy family had accepted her and their financial situation was set for their life.
Steve had done all in his power to make her life all the better. He had been raised having everything he could ever want and wanted to share it all with Chrissy Lynn. Her family was a lot poorer and she wasn’t used to wealth. She had taken a job at one of his sister’s companies, to keep herself busy and earn some of the money she spent, and was quickly rising. She had an assignment in Miami and was flying back when the plane lost control and crashed. Pilot error was the explanation and it was well proven to be fact, including that the pilot was drunk at the time.
Steve had taken it badly and dove head first into work. Whenever he was around a woman since her death, Steve would be mute and unable to speak. This included his secretaries and fellow employees, but women he met on the street were the worse. With those, he would choke up completely and almost break down crying. He may be high in the company but that made him need to talk to everyone often. The only woman he had actually been able to talk to at all was his own mother. At his wife’s funeral, he was so upset he cried the whole time and thus was unaware of anything at the beautiful ceremony.
About a week ago, Steve’s father had come to him. His inability to talk to women was an issue that needed to be fixed immediately. It was interfering with business and was costing the business money. Steve was moved to the executive board and given small tasks that made him no longer need to be in the office more than one day a week or deal with women.
Steve noticed his new position was making the situation worse. He was drinking often and unable to leave his large house to go out. Occasionally, he would go to the gym and work out for hours on end. Usually, these days would end with Steve totally inebriated and passed out on his bed. He would loose track of hours at a time, drowned in sorrow.
Steve came back from one of his work out days exhausted. He had spent the last six hours working as hard as he could. Tonight marked the 100th day since he had lost his beloved Chrissy Lynn. When Steve got home, he went and took a shower, trying to wash the memory from his mind. Normally, that would be followed by an hour or more drinking and today was to be no different according to Steve’s plan. He went to the liquor cabinet, finding it bare, even empty of empty bottles. He went back to his room and dressed. Once he was dressed, he leaned back for a moment to relax, feeling his emotions pooling, and passed out from over working his muscles that day.
Steve awoke some time during the night. He wasn’t sure of the time but he couldn’t believe his eyes. Floating about two feet above the floor moving towards him was his wife. She was glowing a light shade of blue and wearing a thin night gown. The light cloth flowed around her body, flowing behind her, showing that she wore nothing underneath.
Steve rubs his eyes and looks at her, unable to believe he’s awake. He pinches his arm and winces, certain this is real. She is just floating slowly towards him, not speaking. Steve’s eyes confirm she looks even more beautiful than before. Steve pulls his eyes from her beauty and looks around, noticing he lies above the sheets fully dressed. He had shifted to the middle of the blankets and was centered on the bed. His wife floated over to him and was now hovering over him with a smile on her face. Steve couldn’t say anything but lay there and watch her move.
