Okay i don't know how many of you write or are interested in TG fiction but my dilema is the story i'm writing is a TG story. Boy becomes girl magically and has to adjust to her new role in life. I'm a mtf Trans myself but i'm a lesbian in my orientation. So my question to you is to make my story more believable or effective should i go with the Magically transformed girl falls in love with a male or another female? I mean both have potential in my eyes, and both deal with completely different adjustments to society for the main character. So which way should the main character go?

hmm i never thought about it that way i could make her bi... hmmm this could get interesting i've never seen any turn out where they get both.

They say to write what you know, so you might come up with a more compelling and realistic story if you use your own experiences to guide your plot.

On the other hand, "both" could be interpreted as: write two different stories.

If the boy was transformed magically to a girl, and it was a physical change only, and he was straight before, the TG would still be attracted to females. As such, the TG would probably live as a butch (I hope I'm not insulting anybody by that term) lesbian.

However, I'm also sure she would be extremely curious about the functioning and reactions of her new body, and would probably want some sexual experiences as a woman with a man. I think I would make the character a right-in-the-middle bisexual.

The psychology and tension created by penetrator vs penetrated has always lingered in the back of my mind when writing. I don't explore it significantly but it is nearly always there; in the attitudes and concerns of my characters reflecting their reactions to specific situations.

for example when my very first character is seduced into (a rather unexpected) stand up fuck and becomes enveloped rather than penetrating. There you have a switching of traditional roles.

Or the very first self-penetration by an older woman where she discovers actual freedom in sex rather than partner dependency.

On the other hand, now that I think about it, I doubt very much whether either of those two things comes across in those stories and I'm just over analysing my own work.

you raise a couple valid points. hmmm i'm gonna have to give this more thought for awhile before i go past the transformation of the main character which will be coming in the next chapter of my writing.

yeah i think i understand what your saying i think thats why in TG fiction the heterosex seems to be the norm because the dealing with and coming to terms of no longer being a man and submitting yourself and your trust into someone that is going to penetrate you, and is also more then likely physically stronger then you.

I would think that in real life the norm would be hetero. After all, one of the things that would disturb the potential TG person would be a sexuaL and/or romantic attraction to persons of the same sex, and this attraction could only become stronger after the process begins.

In your story, however, if a witch or wizard cast a spell and changed a man to a woman, it would depend on the thoroughness of the spell.

well its gonna be a twist on a birthday wish that causes the transformation.

i'll clean out my mailbox just give me a few minutes then feel free to send it again.

ummm i think i'll just have the character explore their sexuality and then in time i can give in and allow her to decide for herself per say lol.

He is kinda reclusive like i was and while he has kinda always wondered what it would be like to be a girl its still going to be a terrifying experience for her at first.

I will say this as a mtf trans that started hormones about 3 months ago i don't see my preference changing from women. I've not been opposed to a guy at all this entire time but i don't find men attractive right now at all other then Matt Damon and a couple other ridiculously cute men. The only way a guy is gonna get with me would be to sweep me off my feet slowly and i mean slowly because i'm very defensive to mens motives been approached by chasers way to many times. Now women i simply love there bodies and most personalities of women so i have no problems seeing myself with a woman. But in the storybook world i think i'm more attracted to the hetero relationship if that makes any sense.

Do you have another plot besides her personal journey?

I do know one MTF who remained a butch dyke all the way through her transformation.

I would back up Imp and say both... but to go with what you know why not start off with her as a lesbian - so her preference hasn;t changed from when she was male, but then have a man come in and gradually seduce her - would lead to all sorts of lovely plot tension. Good Luck and keep us updated!

I like that maybe thats what i'll go with that way i can explore both types of relationships with this character.

Talking to you guys is being extremely helpful with giving me idea's.

You know i think i could make that work but not reveal that he was a woman before in the current story but write a second story with the same characters that reveals that truth I like it i think i could make that work.

just an update for anyone that had any interest in this the story writing is coming along nicely I'm about halfway done with it. Would of been done a long time ago if i wasn't a procrastinator and busy with school. Love interest will probably be a lesbian at first but she will probably move on to a man at some point.
