love has made me open my mind
love has made me open eyes that were blind
love has mede me develop trust
love has made me cuss and kick the dust
love has made me spend my last penny
love has made me drive a 100mph drinking henny
love has made me set off mental alarms
love has made me welcome it with open arms
love has made me hate love and still love it
love has made me say i'll try AND **** it
love has made me scared
love has made me emotionally prepared
love has made me not even feel like being bothered
love has yet to make me a father
love has made me give backrubs and get medicine when she was sick
love has made wanna give that same back a kick
love has made me rub feet and gently kiss foreheads
love has made me wanna suffocate her while she slept in bed
love has made me hold hands in the mall
love has made me act like i dont know her at all
love has broken my heart and bent my spirit
love has made me not wanna go anywhere near it
love has made me look for it
love has made me learn to ignore it
love has made me watch sunsets while i sat on the beach
love has made me feel it was too far to reach
love has tested me so much that love can no longer grade me
to put it as simple as i can

Your poem does give some specific examples of what love does to you/for you and that's good. Perhaps, if you participate in some challenges here, read reviews and advice that poets have given other poets, you may find other ways to present this. You have enough material in this poem to work with, so you may find it interesting to try some other forms, imagery, alternative words, etc.
