Spelling quibble: A cannon is a large gun. A canon is sacred text, or a repeating, overlapping melody. "Love canon" implies the Kama Sutra, or subtle fuck music; stories could be told from those, too. A "love cannon" would likely be fairly large and heavy, mounted on a base or stand, and hooked to a power source. A "love shotgun" would be more portable, for hand-held use.
