Yeppers, I was wandering about usenet looking for a few good Mp3's to download, and hot damn it there it was. The XenoSaga OST! Oh boy!

Not only that but there's Valkyrie Profile, Star Ocean 2 and Suikoden!

Today's gonna be a nice day after all!

I was wondering if there are any soundtracks anyone else is excited about like I am about XenoSaga. There's bound to be.

I'd like to track down a lot of the Final Fantasy soundtracks on CD but they seem to go for too much on eBay. Downloading really isn't an option with a dial up connection unless I'd like to be tied to my machine for a few days. I'm sure there are much better things to be tied to

I usually let mp3's download overnight whilst I sleep.

Yes I have a firewall.

XenoGears, Vagrant Story, Secret of Mana, Wild ARMs, Devil May Cry, Guilty Gear X.

Too many good soundtracks to pass up!

Do you have the FFX OST yet, Sabbath? Or any of the arranged FF tracks that are done by live orchestras? One-Winged Angel and Aerith's theme sound so heavenly like that.

Either set thigns up to download while you sleep, or while you're away from your place for a few hours (either at work or school). It works really well. :)

Now where are those damned handcuffs?

Heh, just a few more tracks and the XenoSaga OST is MINE!

Mwa ha ha ha!

Anyway usenet is just the shit! I can't imagine life without it!

I had One Winged Angel done by an orchestra. I tracked that down with Aimster a while ago. As for downloading overnight, I usually end up disconnected even though I have that disabled. It's more than a little frustrating!

Heh heh. I have a nice shiny pair of cuffs for you right here!

Come and get em! ;)

That's what I wanted to hear. I'm quivering with excitement waiting for you.

Xenogears is one of my all-time fav's , as is Lunar 1.

The soundtrack to Age of Empires II from the collectors edition is also remarkable.

Phantasy Star 3 was also very good, as was FF7

The more I think about it, Lunar 1 gets the nod.

Oh I'll make you quiver (among other things) I promise not to be gentle ;)

Oh, I cannot wait til I can feel your whip's tender caresses on my flesh.

Storm:

I like more than one soundtrack so I can't narrow it down to just one. One of my favorite tunes is the Orchestrated Gerudo Valley theme from Zelda : The Ocarina of Time.

Ah, there are so many. I remember being weaned on Pong......

I almost forgot Castlevania: Symphony of The Night. Excellent, start to finish...

Might I suggest you listen to the Dracula Battle Perfect Selections?

It takes the best of all the CV games and remakes em into a heavy metal blitz!

Bloody Tears, Iron Blue Intention, Dance of Illusions, Cross a Fear, Thrashard in the Cave, etc

Requiem for the Nameless Victims is my personal fave from these collections.

ASK FOR MORE:

I get em from usenet. You know...the alt.binaries.blah.blah things.

Tyrael

You really know your vids, T. I'm impressed.

If you can remember the cheat for the original Contra on NES, I will forever bow to the master............

The Konami Code!

Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Start

Viola - 30 lives!

DAMN!!! I thought there were 2 B, A 's, but I've killed a lot of brain cells since then......

So, what are your vids of choice these days??

PSX/PS2 - Xenogears, Vagrant Story, Resident Evil, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 10, Deception

Others - Snk vs Capcom 2, Panzer Dragoon Saga, Sweet Home, Metal Slug, Mega Man, Castlevania

Stuff like that.

More than what's listed but the list would be too large.

Your top picks?

You've got some good ones there, Tyrael

RPG's - Lunar 1, Dragon Warrior 3, Phantasy Star 3, FF7 (have not played 10 yet), XENOGEARS!!!, man that game took me by surprise.

Racing - a LOT. GT2 and NFS 1, but I'll never pick them up again b/c of how good the new games are except GT3 just makes me think of how great a job they did on GT2.

Castlevania: SOTN is the one old game that I will always pick up again for some gool old fashioned fun, over any other.

AOE2 with expansion pack

Dungeon Keeper!! Ever played that? Incredible. "Your creatures are getting angry!!"

Right now I am completely hooked on HALO (and I don't mean LillteDevilWithaHalo - but she is COOL) and I am not even a fan of FPS games. It is that good. Worth buying the system just for one game - never could say that before. It makes Half Life seem laughable........ I could ramble on that game for hours.

I'd love to play a few rpgs like the re released Breath of Fire series on the GBa. Just waiting for the price to come down a bit so I can afford em. :)

I finally got to play Dracula X : Rondo of Blood recently. The best CV game next to Symphony of the Night. CV : Circle of the Moon is getting a sequel soon called White Night Concerto or something. That's pretty quick for a CV sequel, but I really like the new "Super Metroid-esque" adventure theme the new Castlevanias have.

Most the games I'm looking forward to are on the GBA...except for Arc the Lad Collection which will be on the PSX and Blood Omen 2 which will be on the PS2. The remake of the original Resident Evil on the GC looks very promising. I might have to get a GC just to play it and the other 2 new RE games RE Zero ( even though I don't care much for Rebecca ) and RE 4.

In a few days I'm prolly going to restart Final Fantasy Tactics and try to beat that Deep Dungeon and get the secret summon and the 13th zodiac stone.

RPGs...my favorite! I started out with Dragon Warrior and just went crazy from there. It was the first real game I ever finished too. When I found Final Fantasy, that was it. There's so many of them I've tried and loved that I won't even attempt to list them :)

So Tyrael, I'm going to have to cuff you, whip you, and then play your games

Oh boy!

I know you'll be here for a while then!

Final Fantasy 1, 4, ,5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Dragon Warrior 1 & 2, 7, Secret of Mana, Legend of Mana, Final Fantasy Adventure, Final Fantasy Tactics, Tactics Ogre, Ogre Battle, Fiunal Fantasy Legend 1, 2, 3.

Just a shitload of games for you to play.

I can't wait!
