I loved the series, and I've seen the movie far too many times (Never paid for it, though.. people just keep BRINGING me!). I thought that the movie was really well done, though.

I admit, I didn't like Bored of the Rings in book form and I walked out of the movie.

LOTR... Many of us in the LA film community were sorely disappointed that it wasn't nominated for Best Documentary.

Loved the movie and being a New Zealander where it was filmed makes me realise even more so how lucky I am living here in 'Middle Earth'.
I am reading Lord of the Rings at the moment and can't wait for Twin Towers!

Read the books a few times. Saw the movie a few times. Have a copy of the DVD reserved. I think it sucked.
