Lost up the River

A simple set up for someone ambitious to do a longish mix and match story:

Four couples decide to spend their vacation canoeing up country. One couple is veteran outsdoorsy sorts. In two other couples, one spouse but not both are experienced (one hubby, the other wife). The fourth couple are newbies, talked somewhat reluctantly into it.

All of which is fine until on day four of the two week point to point trek, traversing a lake in a thunder storm.the GPS goes overboard.

soaked, they struggle to shore and build a crude, tiny shelter....


I picture a mix of sexual experiences/leanings - from swingers to "never been with anybody else".

Other mixing up to the writer - ages, races, incest?
