Looking for the following story: MC is taught how to make love by his friend's mother. He eventually moves on, and when he comes back home he goes to his friend's party. They play poker, his friend is losing and is getting drunk. Friend then puts up his wife as collateral in the poker pot. Wife wants to leave husband for MC. MC tells her not unless she is divorced. MC friend's mother then sends wife back to MC with divorce papers and a note from friend's mother.

I cannot remember if it was Romance or LW.

A few things I remembered about this story. The friend's mother wore a dress that she loaned to the ex daughter-in-law when she went to meet the MC after her divorce. Also, there was a book involved and daughter-in-law called her former mother-in-law so that MC knew it was her that sent DIL to him.
