Lost story: older widower takes in young homeless mother

I remember this hot story where a mature older man, a widower, picks up a young mother and her baby hitchhiking in the rain or snow. They go back to his big empty house and I’m pretty sure she nursed the baby. He’s respectful, but after getting changed and putting the baby to sleep she shows him how grateful she is.
