Lost Password. Can't Get Into My Stuff

I had to clear my cache and stuff and it logged me out of Lit. I tried logging in, but it kept denying my password. I clicked the "Forgot Password?" option which said that it emailed me a new password.

It sent me a link to click which told me to put in my password (which wasn't working/ I don't remember). I tried to get help with this, but haven't gotten any responses from anyone.

I had to create this new profile similar to my original one. I'd really like help logging into my original profile.

I've been having the same problem for months. I have new chapters I'd love to post. I've sent PMs, posted here, sent messages to the various contact forms, all to no avail. I do notice that when I follow the link from 'Forgot Password' the "session data" returns an error. I've tried different computers and browsers.

I've been trying for a while as well to reset my password but no luck.

Emailed "site support". No Response.

Tried to register with a new ID and email. It tells me "authentication number not found."

So is this site dead then when it comes to PW resets and registrations?

Any help would be appreciated. I have a new story to post.

I've not wanted to try a new account, I am considering it. I know someone reads the submissions, so this site can't be totally dead, but it will be tough to continue if regs/resets aren't working.

I have a suspicion there was a code change that hasn't been fixed in the months I've been trying.

If you're posting here, you're logged in obviously.

I've never known there to be different sets of logins for the boards and the main site.

I can log into the forums, not the lit site. The two have always had different login systems. You can use the same ID and password on both, but they are different.

I actually tried creating a new story side account, but the validation code wouldn't take. I checked it, and it's correct there.
