Lost nonhuman Story

I am looking for a story that i don't remember the title too.

I think it was in the nonhuman section. It was about a man, who discovered his dad's secret. it was this doll that contained the spirit of some women or something...that had to have sex a certain amount of times, or with a certain amount of partners before she could be freed. any ideas?

It may not have been NonHuman. There was something about the man having to rub the doll in order to summon it. Something about his father researching it as well.
