I watched the battle from the window of my room in the palace. War had demoished most of the home I had grown to love. I watched my father as he rode on his black horse with a peace treaty in hand. Without a thought I watched the arrows fly and my father hit the ground. The Huns had killed him.

I could see the invasion of the palace. I snuck out the side door mostly unnoticed.

."The princess. There she goes, get her!" I heard them call after me as I headed to my uncle's kingdom. If I ran fast enough I could make it to saftey.

I ran through the forest of my father's kingdom chased by men whom I had feared my entire life. The twigs and branched tore at my silken dress and my long straight black hair. Their footsteps got closer and soon they were upon my, knocking my down to the ground with trmendous force.

"Good evening Chien-Lee" They smirked down at me.

OOC: I'm looking for dedicated writers who are able to post at least 3 times a week on this one.

The time is ancient China during the invasion of the huns.

Looking for soldiers, horsemen, anyone, maybe even atilla himself to play with a innocent captured princess

Chu-Hua Li, The Renegade

From the cover of the forest, I watched as the men, the crude soldiers--deserters all from the Emperor's Legions--surrounded the tiny young beauty. I held my strong dark steed tightly and still and waited. I had heard the men charge through the woods, their horses crashing down the saplings, trampling through the brush. Then I had heard her screams as they reached her and surrounded her. They were rough and uncivilized and by the way they held her and fondled her it was obvious that they could never appreciate her youth nor her beauty.

There were several of them, but there might be a chance to save her from their crude plan of conquest, perhaps save her for myself. My dark eyes followed their movements and my hot blood ran cold as I watched them mistreat her. The fear and desperation in her eyes drew me to act. With a strong hand on my sword, I eased my horse about through the woods waiting to draw and charge until I reached the optimum position from which to advance.

YE QIAN

Ye Qian watched in horror as his master hit the ground embedded by the dishonorable Hun arrows. Barbarians! He had begged his lord to let Ye carry the treaty, or at least accompany him. But Ye had been rebuked and so it was the the great man fell, alone.

Spurring his steed, Ye Qian reached his dying master's side. A hail of arrows filled the skies from both sides, as if swarms of locusts had decended on the fields. Caught in the middle of this maelstrom, Ye held his master's head and bent low to hear his dying words.

I charge you my most loyal friend to protect my daughter from these evil ones. Go. Now. Others will hold them off as long as they can. Find her and protect her with your very life.

Ye then heard the unmistakeable death rattle. His own horse slain, Ye rose and raced back to the palace. The mongrel hordes yapped at his heels, barely behind. He burst into her rooms to find them empty. Turning to her handmaid he was told that she had just fled to the wood. He looked out, and saw her disappear 2 leagues away chased by a handful of the Hun.

He was torn. He should fight and die here if that was his destiny. But he had been given his orders. Ye Qian was first and forelmost a soldier. Grimly he started out after Chien-Lee, having to battle through the enemy with his broadsword. The woods soon enveloped him.

OOC: Ye Qian is a professional soldier, the slain monarch's right hand. He is loyal, fiercely protective, quick and strong. At 33 he is older than most, his experience leading men is unquestioned.

chien-lee

I felt my heart race as the men pulled at my delicate body, binding me with strings of leather. My cries called into the night hoping there would be one who would save me from my father's enemies.

I felt one tied around my neck as a leash and i was placed upon a horse. I was all hopeless for me now, as i wathed the men eyes my like an object to be owned.

OOC:Anyone still interested

Chu-Hua Li, The Renegade

As I maneuvered my tall dark steed silently through the woods, I watched as the deserters bound the young woman and threw her roughly upon a horse. My dark eyes followed them knowing that in their crude passion and haste that there would be an opening for me. My right hand gripped the handle of my sabre firmly as the deserters mounted and grouped to make their escape.

The cries of the young woman tore deeply into me and spurred me to action. For though I was viewed by most as an outlaw, I was a civilized learned man, a former soldier, whose sworn allegiance to the emperor had only now been broken by his horrible death at the hands of the invaders. Who this young woman was and why she was chosen by these men, I knew not. But their rough treatment of her gave me cause to believe that a cruel fate awaited her.

I directed my horse nearer to the clearing just as the chaotic shouts of the deserters reached a crescendo. The young beauty looked about fearfully, and her dark eyes caught mine as I edged nearer. The glance of hope kindled in them drew me to action.

As the deserters began to lead her horse away, I drew my sword and charged from the darkness of the woods taking them completely by surprise. A quick slash from my shining sword severed the hand that lead her mount. Clutching for the reins, I took them and quickly lead her off counter to their direction.

Knowing the woods around the palace intimately from my years in the emperor's service, I sheathed my sword and lead her off through a series of pathways I could have ridden at great speed in the darkness of night. Soon the shouts and cries of the disorganized deserters faded in the distance. When we reached a small hidden clearing, I paused and cut loose her bonds.

"No time for talk here," I said hurriedly. "I have a place not far away where you will be safe."

She looked at me with quizzical eyes and I knew there would be questions forth coming.

i'm interested, but not sure wat role i would play.

Interested.

OOC; I'm interested, I would really like to play the part of Chien-Lee's younger sister, who gets kidnapped and ransomed. If we can work that somehow into the story line. Either way I want to play a female character who is taken hostage by the baddies.
Let me know.

Chien Lee

OOC: Welcome to all. Work your way in as you wish. Try to write as if you are writing about the esscence of erotica. This is a thread of passion not just sex. Lets also try and keep ooc to PMs unless an anouncement needs to be heard by everyone

IC: the man suprised me as he lead my horse away from the men who had capured me. In the small clearing he cut the bindings away from my light flesh.
"I have a place not far away where you will be safe." he wispered to me.

I felt safe with him as he lead me farther from my original captors. I followed him through the woods as I could hear the hun's dogs in the distance.

"Who are you?"As I stopped shortly and looked him in the eye. I knew I shouldn't, but I did not care for the tradition. I was not to be as ignorant as I seemed since I was a woman. "We must return and find my sister before they do. I'm the only one who is known since I was the oldest and was to be shown to suitors first. We must go and find her"

Gonz aheza was walking through the forest when he came to a small village just outside what appeared to be a small pallace that was blazing away. Gonzah shook his head sadly and was about to turn back and head off when he heard a scream come from one of the buildings. he quickly ran in, cursing whoever did this, and came to a house, fuly caught in the fire. he knocked the door in and looked around, through the smoke he could see the form of a girl huddled in the back.

Gonz ran foreward and lifted some debris out of the way, then picked her up and ran out of the house.

he set her down by the edge of the small stream running by the village and ran cool water over her face. "hello? can you hear me? you're going to be alright. your village sems to have been burned down, but you hid well, whoever did this missed you. you are safe with me. but they may come back. you must gather your wits about you and make haste!"

she looked oddly familiar to him, but he put it out of his mind as he helped her toher feet. she seemed a little too weak to run right now. he picked her up again and ran into the forrest just in time to see several men on horseback storm back into the town, franticly looking for something, or some one.

OOC:Gonz Aheza is a mercenary. i swear i knew this word, but it's slipped my mind, starts with an S, but it's the japanese word for merc. so yeah. ninja for hire.

Tai-Lee

Cold water splashed her face, bringing her back to semi-consciousness. Her head spun as her feet where lifted off solid ground and she was bodily swung round and up. Her hands frantically grasped her head to stop the pounding and she moaned in distress as she felt bile rise in her throat. She thrashed in the air as she felt her stomach churn "Put me down." she mumbled "Put me down, I demand it." Her stomach heaving with her violent struggle Tai-Lee struggled to keep the vomit from rising in her throat.

Gonz

Gonz slowed down from his run so he wouldn't jar this sick girl. he wasn't sure wether to lay her down or stand her up. but she was sick anyway, so he gently set her on her knees and brought out a leather pouch containing water. "this is water, drink what you need"

Gonz looked out to the forest waiting to see if he had any purseuers. He glanced back to see how the girl was doing. he spoke near a whisper "i am not sure, but i believe i hear the pounding of horse hooves. Hurry girl! we must run lest you wish to be captured by those who would burn you to cinders!"

Thorvald, Hun Captain

OOC: I hope you don't mind if I join in. It seems no one wants to play the bad guys. Well, I have no fear. Here's someone for all of you to hate.

IC:

Thorvald and his small entourage had searched the castle. Killing the male servants and taking the family and female workers into custody. They had all been bound, gagged and turned over to lesser officers. This was beneath him. They would be secured somewhere in his newly claimed home.

The castle was beautiful, except for where there was damage. He was confident his soldiers would have the larger holes patched in a matter of days. Thorvald searched the castle and found the master's chambers. Finally left alone by his lower officers he watched from the balcony as some of his men first captured and then proceeded to loose one of the young daughters of the "Former" lord of the manor. It had been a great fight and he honored the fallen general, but he had no need for a defeated Chinese soldier. Neither as a man nor as a slave or hostage. He had personally ordered his archers to open fire on the China man on horseback. Only women would survive their encounter with his unit and they, only for a short time. For as long they were useful as whores or as servants.

There was a knock at the door. He turned as the door opened. A beautiful young woman was pushed through the door into the chambers. Without speaking Thorvald moved over to where two of his soldiers held the pretty young maid. Her clothes were already ripped, exposing her small bosom. He reached one of his large, calloused hands into the ripped dress and cupped one of her small breasts. "She will do." He announced. "Strip her and leave her" He ordered.
The two guards nodded and forced the woman over by the bed. Thorvald paid them little mind as they ripped the clothes off of the pretty maid. He removed his belt from his waist, laying his sword gently on the desk. He then removed his leather tunic. The guards forced the now naked woman onto the bed and tied her hands with a leather strap to the bamboo head board. Thorvald nodded and the two men fled the room. Closing the door behind them.
Thorvald removed the last of his clothing and moved to the side of the bed holding a small dagger. He held it to the girls throat as he ran his hand over her small fragile body. "Yes, you will do nicely." He says with an evil grin.

Chu-Hua Li, The Renegade

As the dark eyes of the young woman examined me closely, I could not help but bow my head with respect, now recognizing her. She must be Chien-Lee, the daughter of the slain emperor.

"I am Chu-Hua Li, a former soldier and a humble protector of the throne," I said. "I am sure that you do not remember me since it has been many years since I served at the palace of your father and you were but a child."

As I raised my head and looked deeply into her eyes, there was a quality, an elegance to her bearing, a deep sensual yearning that triggered a protective response in me. I reached out and brought my hand to her cheek.

"Although my first thought is for your safety," I went on, "My second thought is for the safety of your sister. Do you know where she is? Perhaps we can plan for her escape as well."

As I awaited her response, there was something drawing me to her, perhaps the regal bearing of her mother that she had so wonderfully inherited, the beauty and bearing that had attracted me years before to her mother, the empress, and which had led to my disgrace. Perhaps to make up for the years in exhile, I felt a need to redeem myself. Yet it was more than that, for there was a deep running emotion to which I could only surrender in service to this beautiful young woman, this princess.

Chien-Lee

I could feel his hand along my cheek as he spoke softly to me. Never had a man touched me. I backed away quickly tripped over a root falling to the ground. I laughed at myself for my clumsyness as I sat there for a moment.

I knew there were things to do but I had no idea which way to do them in. I was the oldest of my father's children and there were no sons. I was to be empress of my fathere's kingdom, or what was left of it now. The thought of that power scared me a bit as well as aroused me.

"Chu-Hua Li, we must go back. I must bury my father or he will never pass over."

I got up and turned towards the palace and the battle field where my father had been slain. I ran as fast as my feet would carry me. The palace was just ove the next hill, I was almost there.

When I reached the top I whatched in horror at the sight that lay before me. Men, or remenats of what were men lay in pools of blood. Fires in the trees and Hun gaurds around my home. I stood in shock as I watched the horrible scene in front of me. My home was in ruins and I could do nothing for my people. I felt a small tear run down from my eye as I started to moved slowly down the hill to find the body of my father.

I wandered among the bodies along with the other women of the kingdon serching for our loved ones in the piles. It ws up to us, there were none left to bring them to a peace ful rest. Even those were dead. I scanned the dead but there was no sign of my father. I searched for the familiar grey of his hair and beard. I looked for his elegant robes, but most of all his kind face.

Chu-Hua Li, The Renegade

I followed behind the young princess as she ran back toward the palace, careful to keep a respectful distance. Were the lawful right to rule be restored, I would surely be willing to serve this young defiant beauty. There was so much of her mother's courage and spirit in her. But these things I must keep to myself.

The carnage that surrrounded us as I followed the princess toward the palace was appalling. The Huns had wreaked their terrible slaughter and I moved forward slowly and respectfully seeing so many familiar friendly faces dispatched to their untimely gruesome deaths. Was there anyone left to remain on the throne? Or would the rule of these barbarians take root?

I could feel as I followed each step of the princess, her innocence melt away. Perhaps she was the one who could make sense of this chaos. And what of her sister?

I rose up to my full height, my dark eyes piercing the misty skies, my long dark hair flowing past my shoulders, my deep dark eyes constantly scanning the field, my well-muscled body tensed and ready, and my senses so inflamed with the spirit of revenge that I stood ready to help if she so much as asked or looked my direction.

The breeze was shifting over this stagnant battlefield and I tossed my cape of dark fur over my shoulder and awaited a command from the princess, the daughter of my one true love, the only one who could stir me to action.

Thorvald, Hun Captain

The young maid lay on the bed, she had stopped screaming some time ago, her neck now twisted more than it should have been. He had mourned the beautiful young woman at first. It had passed.

I wandered the room, restless. I love battle. Waiting for the next is torture. Waiting is all I seem to do anymore.

Night is falling outside. The sky is a beautiful shade of orange. Outside, on the battlefield, women, dozens of them, search for the remains of their beloved husband, brother or son. Pride wells up inside my gut. It feels good to be back in battle. To coquer is my life. These peasants don't know the power. They will soon.

I dress quickly and order two of my guards to remove the young maid out of my newly acquired quarters, I would need the bed again soon. I storm down the stairs. I had heard someone say we had captured one of the young princesses. I would have her.

"Where is the princess?" I holler as I come down the final flight of stairs.

"We have her chained up in the cellar Captain." I don't recognize him enough to remember his name but he had served will in the battle. I follow his lead as he leads me to the cellar and then to the young Princess.

"You are the Princess Tai-Lee correct?" I ask her. She doesn't respond. I reach out and raise her head from her chest. Some of my soldiers had gotten rough with her. They would pay for that. "Remove her from these shackles. Take her to her chambers. See to it that she is fed and nursed back to health. She may still be useful. Her elder sister, the crowned Princess Chien Lee, remains at large. We may be able to use her as bait." I step back and the young officer and two guards remove Tai-Lee from her shackles. I follow them up the stairs and watch as they ascend the steps to the royal quarters. I do not follow. "Have a mount brought for me. I wish to go view the field of battle." I holler and take the steps to get my armor and weapon.

It takes only moments for me to return. When I do a beautiful black horse is waiting. I mount the steed and ride out of the castle.

The field of battle, rivers of blood. The stench of death. The screams of the injured. The screams of the women as they realize they are now widows. It's a wonderful thing for a soldier. I ride to the top of the hill and view the wonderful Carnage.

"Enjoy it women. For tomorrow, all of your soldiers will be beheaded, their bodies burned and their heads placed atop javelins in front of the castle. Then all will know the cost of resisting Lord Attila. All will know." I look out to the horizon as the sun finally falls behind the hills. A shadow. A man, on a horse.
"A soldier!" I draw my sword and ride hard towards the man.

OOC: Here I come Miltone. :)

OOC: er, doffy, maybe you should read before you post. Tai-Lee is with me, in the forest, running away from your soldiers. she's not in the castle, shakled and being mistreated by your soldiers.

Chu-Hua Li, The Renegade

Following at a safe distance behind the princess, I watched as she searched through the battlefield, perhaps for her father. My protective eyes swept about the field. I may have been disgraced by my affair with the empress and banished, but my oath to the throne still held sway in my heart. If I had failed previously, I was ready now to stand tall to defend her, to defend her family, to defend the throne.

Soon enough in the distance the sound then the sight of a Hun on a dark horse made itself known. There would be no chance to hide or escape. I steeled myself to his charge and made ready to defend to the death. The fat years of training, the lean years of exhile had all prepared me. I had everything to fight for, not just the thrill of battle, but my country, my princess, my life.

Scanning the field I spotted the best ground from which to field his wild charge. The sharp silver of my finely sharpened broadsword glinted in the misty light of morning. I made ready knowing that my sword and my enemy would soon meet.

Pulling out

Really, really sorry everyone but I have sooo many groups and I'm giving up a few as it takes ages to post everyday. I'm sad to leave this thread and not follow through with this plot, it has great potential.

Gonz

and she suddenly vapourized into thin air

OOC: nice having you while it lasted lustyoo

Chien Lee

I turned slowly back to find the warrior following close behind in my tracks. I turned my gaze back to the feild covered in the carnage. I could hear the sound of horses in the distance with one getting closer. I look up to see a hun headed straight for Chu-Hua Li with a cold anger in his eyes.

"No!!"I cried out as I ran towards him. Then I realized I had given myself away to the enemy and stopped in mid step."Chu-Hua Li , Run or you will be killed"

Chu-Hua Li, The Renegade

"No, my dear princess, you are the one who must run!" I shouted to her. "You owe it to your father's memory to save yourself for another day! My place is here to protect your retreat. Now go!"

As I looked down into her eyes, I saw the tender innocence of her youth and the same fiery spirit as her mother, and was moved all the more to protect her, to save her from the ravages of the filthy Hun.

"If I survive I will come for you!" I shouted desperately, pointing the way of her safest retreat. With my fierce look and the glinting blade of my broadsword, I hoped that she would see that this hunkering Hun Captain galloping toward me on the steed once ridden by the Emperor, was in for no easy fight. He knew not of the special tactics I had learned at the hand of braver and stronger men than he.

"Now go dear Princess and seek out Ye Qian. He was your father's right hand man. Perhaps he has raised an army and can help you more than I! Go!"

Ye Qian

Ye Qian followed into the depths of the forest, soon coming upon the severed hand of a Hun. With a grim smile he realized that a battle had been waged here. He saw no other evidence of bloodshed nor any bodies. A surprise strike then as he read the signs, the princess had vanished. Knowing the forest to be full of robbers and outcasts, Ye Qian feared for her safety as much as before.

In ever widening concentric circles Ye Qian looked for signs and still found none. Frustrated he sat back to take stock. His first duty was to the princess, of that he had no doubt. His second was to his land, his people. He must act swiftly. Back to the castle to look for survivors and rally those few soldiers who might have escaped. Then, we shall see.

He made the arduous journey back. As he reached the far end of the clearing he was just in time to see the two antagonists rush at each other. And there was the princess! Drawing his sword he ran pell mell into the field to defend her just as the two warriors came together...

Chien Lee

I watched the two men as they moved towards each other. I looked to the east to see Ye Qian rush out of the forest.

i ran to him moving behind him out of the way and out of sight.

"Ye Qian, We must leave or help. I do not know. the man on foot is an ally. i think he used to serve in my fathers army." I turned back into the forest in a rush. I could feel his presence follow behind me.

"Why this, and why me Ye Qian? I'm not ready to rule and conquer the enemy"

Gonz

Gonz was curious enough to head back to the town, just in time to see several figures running to the forrest off to his right, and a horde of Huns comming after them. they seemed in no condition to fight, and would probably be over-run. Gonz stepped out of the forrest and fung his left arm out. Half a dozen stars flew from him, all but one hitting. then he pulled a blow gun from withing his robes and managed to draw the Huns attention to himself. after he was sure the others trail had been left long enough for them to escape he took off, soon jumping into the trees, and from there, back tracking. completely loosing the huns. he then searched for the three people he had seen earlier.
