Amnesia is terrible! I can't say whether it's more terrible than not having amnesia, because I can't remember what that was like. In fact, there are only three things I remember with perfect clarity: the names, "Turk" and "Rick's Rooftop Cafe," and an incident with a staple gun. Could that explain the small scar on my derrierre?

What am I doing in Casablanca anyway? And who is the mysterious Swede? And why do I crave a frozen pina colada served in a pineapple half, with little paper umbrellas?

Help.

Offers a tender breast, err shoulder, in support. Let me help you find you way, Dear.

You can trust me.

:rose:

Golly, am I lucky to bump into another American woman here in the streets of Casablanca.

Ah, stick with me and I'll take you to places you've only dreamed about.

So, why do you want to find Ricks? Its crowed, and just between us, they're a little rowdy up there. Good people, but rowdy.

I know a nice little out of the way place, cozy enough for two.

;)

As we pass the Hallmark Cards booth in the Casbah, the nameless amnesiac feels compelled to browse the Birthday section.

"Remec," she says to the American woman. "Does that mean anything to you? - No, wait, don't tell me. I think I know! Remec is a code word for something that will happen on a birthday. Is it Turk's birthday? Is someone named planning a terrorist bombing to disrupt Turk's birthday party? Or is it Remec's birthday? Is there a person named Remec at the Rooftop?"

casbah binoculated

Scanning the casbah with my bnoculars, I almost missed shereads when I was distracted by Ahmed's collection of Victorian erotic postcards. But there she was in the next stall, shopping for the perfect Hallmark moment.

But wait! She's not alone. Lady Kit has found her and her interest isn't solely on postcards if the points on her blouse are any indication. Thatt unscrupulous woman! Trying to take advantage of our noble heroine in a moment of confusion while I'm up here behind the rococco balustrade. Damn, she thought about it before I did. If I only hadn't been distracted by Arioso's tool fetish.

What to do? Rush to her side and rescue her? Rush to her side and offer Lady Kit my assistance? Get more powerful binoculars and live vicariously-by myself or with others?

Conundrums abound!
