I recently started a story and about an hour into it I had to save and log off. Later went back to continue and the story is vanished completely. Any ideas of where I might can search for it
Follow along with the video below to see how to install our site as a web app on your home screen.
Note: This feature may not be available in some browsers.
I'd also add: save it to a cloud account, besides your device where you're writing it. Many years ago, I lost 3 stories when my laptop died, and luckily I had two of them saved to a zip-drive, or a mini-disc. One was lost totally and I never bothered to re-write it.You were writing the story directly from brain to Lit New Story, on your phone?
Please don't do that. Until you press Save Draft on the bottom of the New Story page, and until it actually sends your text to the Lit server, your text doesn't exist anywhere but a temporary text box in your phone's web browser. If it doesn't exist in your Drafts area in your control panel, it means Lit never received it.
If you briefly lost your Internet connection, or you closed your browser, or left to another page, I'm afraid it's gone for good
Please write your stories in a writing app like Word or Google Docs, and then copy and paste it into Lit when is ready to submit!
