Due to drinking and driving. Her own 16 year old daughter found her in a ditch..I am not looking for anything here except before anyone drives after drinking, think about what it would be like for your child to find you... Please don't do it.

Bummer. I think we've all had that experience. Puts a damper on the day.

Well at least she didn't kill an inoccent person from her selfish lifestyle

Poetic justice

I hate to say this......

But I agree

What could any rational sane grownup......one with kids.....be thinking of DRINKING and DRIVING!

La H...

Hanns=BusyBody

But at least he's not drinking alone...

What the FUCK does this mean?

I dont know any MORON who drinks and DRIVES!

You do?

If you drink and drive.....dont be whining about the results of your outlandish behavior!

Do you guys absolutely have to be an asshole in every thread? She was expressing her grief, and sending a very good (and timely, considering the season) message, it's not necessary to clutter it up with your abrasive opinions.

Sorry for your loss. :rose:

I'll take that if you'll just shut the fawk up and go troll elsewhere...

Freya

Yes, the message must be sent.....

Yes, it is sad she lost a friend....

Yes, it is sad for that persons daughter....

And other children if any....

The message should also be....

That if ANYONE acts in any manner that disregards dangerous behavior........they reap the RESULTS.....

La Huesera, i'm sorry for your loss.

Thank you for thinking of others at this time. Hopefully, someone will listen to the message.

Yes busybody, but that's also one of those things that are self evident, and really don't need to brought forward so harshly. Start another thread on the topic if you feel that strongly about it - let this one be for what it was meant.

I'm terribly sorry and know that there aren't any words that I can say that will take away the pain and loss.

What makes you think anyone will listen to this message?

hasnt this message been around for decades?

Why would the message penetrate thick skulls now?

Another one bites the dust!

Good thing some "innocent civilian" wasnt harmed!!!

The problem is

They think it will never happen to THEM!
(The drunk drivers that is)

Thanks everyone for the kind words.

Like I said, I was just trying to get people to think a little before they did something stupid.

busybody.... I do agree with you 100%. She was a grown women and should have known better. My concern was just for her daughter. I worked as an EMT for 13 years.. trust me, NO ONE should see their mother like that. I am glad that she did not hurt anyone else.

Hanns..I don't agree it was "Poetic justice". While you have every right to your opinion, I also have one. While she should not have been driving drunk, no one should die like that...

My thoughts are for the would be victims that could have so eaily been her roadkill

No sympathy for self inflicted death that could have killed others

Did not ask you for sympathy...nor would I ever. I just wanted everyone to think about what they were doing.. and what can happen.

hate to bump my own thread.. but I think it's an important message

Going into the holiday season..

Bummer.

Thanks for the reminder.
