Snooper, the question is not when some one first had sexual thoughts, heavy petting, or their first kiss. The question is: when did you lose your virginity. I happened to lose mine at 18. Didn't plan it that way. The time was just right. It does happen.

And, from what I read from the feedback I get, and from the people I've met on line, many were well over 18 when they gave it up. Maybe the fantasy of being with a younger person (under legal age, no matter where you live) is because many people wish they had lost their virginity earlier. Who knows? I never understood the pressure to lose my virginity, so it wasn't a big issue for me. However, from some of the responses I read here at Lit about not being able to read/write about 14 year olds fucking each other, if I were 16 I'd feel a tremendous amount of pressure. Either that or I would think I was some sort of abnormal freak.

As for me, the first time was okay. Not a terrible mess and not something I regret. He wasn't all that good, but then I had nothing to compare him to so I thought I had it pretty good at the time. I didn't orgasm, but didn't think much of that either.

Having said that, I was with someone I genuinely cared about, and I look back on that day with very fond memories. I do believe I was in love

Absolutely. Even if the first one really does turn out to be the best, it'll give you a true appreciation for the good stuff once you've made your way through that ocean of garbage.

My first time (15) didn't really count because it was over almost before I knew it was happening. Second time was an improvement. Things got much better once I decided to be more vocal ("Just shut up and give me that thing").
