Los Angeles, Ca - Looking for Trans dating advice

I didn't how else to put this. I'm a single male, 39 and a big guy. I'm looking to date, but I don't know where a good place to try for Trans females. I live in Los Angeles, but my family has been traditional and I am definitely not. I appreciate and love all people and how they define themselves. I'm not a huge partier and have worked and been going to school a lot of my free time. Any advice on places? And any encouragement for finally getting out there?
