It is a great sheame that the new#1 thread, amd the new poems thread, both seem to have dried up.
Sincerely hope that is not my fault,with all the moaning I did.
is no good me commenting on new poems , or #1, I do not have the knowledge or the skill,
would like to see them active tho

The whole damn place has dried up since Unmasked Poet left. It's back to being just like it was before he arrived. I know! Let's take action! I'm off to revive his Poetry #2 thread. You tackle the new #1 thread. Someone else grab the New Poems thread!

Pleasureu.....
I'm not the poet technician that daughter and others
are, in regards to form and technique, but I know I am
good at commenting on how a poem makes me *feel*.
However, overtime, once you get to read more different
types of poems, you get to learn a bit more about
technique.......but my suggestion is to do what makes
you feel comfortable, even if its not being technical.

I know for a fact that many people have been busy with the
3rd leg of the Poetry Olympics........plus I have been busy with
the Olympic thread on the General Board, playing Bob Costas from
NBC there Anyhow, I know once the Olympics are over with
and the Poetry Games are done with, I know I'll go back to the
promotion of poems.......

Can't leave out Cyberguy's "Buried Treasure" thread though from
the pack......

I recall what pleasureu had said over time in regards to
threads.........after all, pleasureu is contributing to the
threads by making their voice heard, and not necessarily
in regards to poems. Give pleasureu credit for posting
up......


I know there's a fine line between stating one's opinion

I have attempted to retain my composure at all times, have not criticised other poets,and today, I was being perfectly honest.
I miss reading the new poems list,and the new #1.
i do not think I can contribute anything worthwhile.I have read very little poetry in my life, some of the forms leave me cold.
I have not, as you so succinctly put it, been whining, just asking questions.
My presence here would seem to offend you Sir,
