‘Squad’ Democrat Cori Bush trailing Wesley Bell in challenger poll​

Squad” Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) is facing a competitive Democratic primary that looks to have heated up even further with the release of a new poll that shows her trailing by 23 points to her challenger, St. Louis attorney Wesley Bell.

The poll, conducted by McLaughlin & Associates and sponsored by pro-Bell Super PAC CCA Action Fund, showed Bell, a Democrat, ahead 56% to 33%. The survey of 300 likely Democratic voters was conducted between June 28 and July 1 via telephone interviews and texting. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 5.7 percentage points.

In the same poll, Bell was viewed favorably by 70% of respondents to Bush’s 50%.

“Cori Bush has wasted her time in Congress to focus on her own fame in the Squad — while her constituents suffer,” Marc Little, a CCA Action Fund spokesman, told the New York Post.

The controversy was manufactured by the right. There is no validity to it. (Similar to Obama not being a US citizen.
