As for Mike, I figure he has done no harm so far, and I'd very much like to keep it that way. I don't think antagonizing, isolating, or ridiculing him really helps matters. When he starts threads I try to engage him constructively and ask him questions and make suggestions. I think those of us with more age and experience should try to help him see things more clearly, and help him with socialization challenges.

I figure as long as he's here conversing, he's socializing, and potentially better off than he might be isolated and introverted and acting out.

But that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.
