Hi everyone. I am new here and mostly want to edit for spelling/grammar, although I will definately tell you if I think a section or paragraph needs to be re-written and give an over-all view of the whole piece. Also, I am in Canada and generally write using 'English' spelling, but can edit either that or 'American' spelling - just let me know!

I have been reading here for awhile and hate how these trivial things can interrupt a great story-line!

I should be able to return stories within a few days, depending on the length, as I am a stay-at-home Mum. I am certainly willing to help out some of the busier editers without 'taking over' their authors. In fact, that might be a great way to start as it sounds like they would probably want to quickly go over it before sending it back to the author.

Anyways, let me know if I can help you!

Welcome to Bellvue's outpatient division. Don't be frightened if some of us start having debates with doorknobs--and losing. Lady C always passes out our Thorazine in the nick of time. :)

Yeah, but you STILL haven't explained why there are pictures of caribou on the backs of Canadian quarters! My theory is simple: real caribou are too big to fit onto a coin.

Wrong reason hun...it's because the crocs couldn't deal with pisspoor tie-wrap.

Lol

I guess I should read my own stuff before posting, hey? (although I was reading a post about how hard it is to edit your own work)

I'm from BC, so probably a lot of people here are 'closer' to you, Lady C, but it's nice to see someone else from our wonderful country.

Reminds me of the famous anecdote about George Vancouver: ostensibly, he landed in coastal B.C. in 1793, selected a small party of crewmen, and ordered them to march inland until they reached the eastern edge of "the island." With luck, they'll be stumbling into Halifax some day next November.
