Nice!
Which are your 2 favorites, and why?
Also, how do/did you travel - on your own, by tours, or...?

Countries? Canada, USA, Mexico, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Antigua and Barbuda, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, UK, France (and French Polynesia), Belgium, Italy, Vatican City, Switzerland, Spain, Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Poland, Estonia, Czechia, Hungary, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia. I think that's all. Tours and on my own for vacation, research, and conferences.

Ah you almost tied (28) with @Raymitchell1.
Do you have a favorite or 2?

It’s hard to pick 2. We really enjoyed Japan. We stayed in a Tokyo for a few days and then flew to Kyushu. It was fantastic. People are friendly, curious and courteous. We also enjoyed Portugal so much that we returned.

We go on our own. Some of these trips happened years ago. We backpacked and took buses (Turkey, Chile, Nepal, Argentina). I worked in the Middle East for a while. Recently we mostly rent a car and drive around.
