But the fact that you put your personal information out there and are inviting and opening yourself up to physical danger is a problem.

Don't even count on it being THEIR personal information. People have been known to post stuff like this under false pretenses to encourage attacks against others - IIRC there's at least one guy serving a long jail sentence after posting a "come rape me" on his ex's behalf.

Judging by the results I get from googling the email (ie none but this same message copy-pasted elsewhere), I would not be surprised if this was the case.

I've spent about a month writing fictional variations of this fantasy...

I solved the kidnap-iz-bad problem by having my characters be upfront and specific about their desire, and make positive statements saying that this is what they want to do with their lives.

And in my alternate universe, such things are feasible. Problem is, OP, someone has to go to work and buy the dogfood. Starving while being fucked probably isn't part of your fantasy.

Abusive partners and such also use tactics like this to locate victims who've managed to escape by pretending they're missing persons and posting about it on the internet, tricking people into giving them clues about their whereabouts.
