I'm just out of the shell... and new to the site and just browsing my way around. Great free site just need a little help with selecting the best stories to read. I'm looking at all the stories and would like to poll all the readers for their favorites. A small survey? Can anyone help me with their selection of best straight sex story on the Literotica site?

I may be biased, but I do believe that SHINTANI is by far the best author on literotica. He's very diversified and definitely knows how to keep his fans coming back (no pun intended) for more. Not to mention, I have been his number one fan since he started writing. All stories have a unique touch when written, but there is a certain style which he possesses that is almost undescribable. He can write almost anything and is open to a wide variety of topics and ideas. Believe me, you'll get hooked! (Sweetie, did I dig my way out of my hole yet?? If not, did this help at all?) All joking aside, excellent reading material. Enjoy!!

Wasn't 'THX1138' the name of that George Lucas film about a futuristic dystopia where people's individualism and freedom are taken from them and they have to go around with bald heads (the shame!!!)? I take it that's where SHELL and OM come from.

That was a pirdy good film, if my memory serves me. Good choice of name too, although I would've been tempted to go with: AmericanGraffiti.

I’m new to the site but I have noticed that there is not much interest in the story side of the site, compared to the BB. Is everyone here for just the BB? To bad if that is the case as the story side of this web page is awesome to say the least. Not many answers to this post. Is this because the stories do not intrigue the masses? What a disappointment, after I see the amount of work and effort the writers invest in their works.
Liked whispersecret’s Hostile Takeover, it was very good, and the Rescue was a good story, but the sex in it need improvments. Read Rolly’s stories and found sunrise my darling to be charged with emotions and feelings. And loved the lawnmower story by Tawny.

The story side of the site is difficult for me to take advantage of because there is so much to choose from, and I am very picky in my tastes. I appreciate people who take the time to write feedback, because often I will read a story simply because someone thought enough about it to post a favorable comment about it. I wish more people would do so.

Otherwise, I'm busy writing my own story or messing around on the bulletin board, and don't have time to wade through the 5-10 new daily stories in order to find one I like.

I will put myself out on a limb and say that I really do not understand what the hell most of the posts above mean and will therefore not attempt to develop on them.
In terms of good stories there really are too many to mention.

The author that stands out the most in my mind though is Tawny T (God, hope I got her name right -ed). Anything that she puts her name too will be excellent. Trust me.

P.S. Oh, and there's also another author called crystal whose pretty damn fine too

My favorite poet of all-time on this site is definitely Jennifer O. Kinney. WOW.

Older stuff I like.. I liked Teaching Patti, and I liked Tara on a Tear, but in my humblest of opinions, 'Jazzy girl' is far and away the best thing Dixon's got posted on here, and probably my favorite thing posted.. I find a lot of stories on here that I think have either high sexual merit or high literary merit-- and that's what I'd consider the ideal mixing of the two.

The other thing I like is Xx's 'Sorry, wrong number' series.. Yummy.

Newer stuff, I blush to admit I haven't read a lot of.. I enjoyed 'Mindy fucks' and-- d'oh!-- I can't remember the title of the other one. But I'm happy to see we have so many newer authors that write so well.
