Really? We survived, didn't we? Must say something. Besides, lets look at some of the "Modern" inventions that civilization have brought us. Like, oh say, Nuclear Weapons. Or how about Toxic biohazardous material. How about the ability to kill thousands of people from a distance without ever seeing their faces?
