The two main characters are Kris (male) and Maeve. They work together and have been best friends for a long time. She's just recently come out of a bad long term relationship. As far as I'm aware it's a romance category wise but I could be wrong.

I did have the story/author favourited but have managed to remove it somehow by mistake.

Any ideas?..

I think this is MugsyB, actually... but a quick check reveals that she's taken it down. Can't remember the title, though. I liked it, too.

Oh.. This almost seems to be a recurring outcome to my questions. Well MugsyB really is one of my favourite authors on here then.

Do you know why she's taken the story down by any chance?
