This was many, many years ago, and I don't think the story is on the site anymore, so I'm looking for the name and author so I can try and find an archived version somewhere.
The story was called something LIKE "road less traveled" or "path not taken" or something like that. THe main character had a friend with benefits who was a world famous model, but he ended up with another woman.
