Looking for suggestions for a role playing thread

I was going to post this in the sexual role playing boards but since it seems to piss off some people when I do that *cough*Thors Hammer*cough* I decided to post it here.

I want to start a new thread soon but I want to try something different from my usual 'sci-fi/fantasy' type threads from the past. The thing is, I'm not sure what to do one on. I had two ideas but someone beat me to the punch on those so I'm up for suggestions.

If anyone has an suggestions for a thread that would be good for alot of people to be apart of, I'm up for hearing them.

Hey CB, I would love to work on a thread with you. We've been together in a few, but never paired up before. I was going to ask you out as my 'date' for the Christmas Party thread but remembered that in the X-Men thread you said you were going to be gone for the second half of December and that thread is supposed to last till next month according to Intriguess. So I knew you wouldn't be able to be in that one but would still love to write with you sometime.

Start with something you'd like to do. You've got a great imagination! Think about some situation you'd like to find yourself in, stir in an interesting time and/or place. Add one (or more) willing partners and you've got yourself an SRP.
Personally, I would jump at the chance to write with you...I've read some of your stuff on that board and it rocks! Just have fun with it

Ok thanks for the suggestions everyone. I got a couple of ideas now that I think might work if done right. I like Weird Harolds idea alot, a thread or two like that have been done before but there is alot of potential right there.

Going to think over the possibilitys of these suggestions and probably start a new thread tomorrow after I straighten out what I want to do with them. If anyone else has any more ideas, I'm still open to them.

Actually, a G.I. Joe thread isn't a bad idea, especially if it's based on the comics and not the cartoon.

Has anyone tried a GI Joe thread? I really like the masquerade Idea, though instead of posting under our realnames, post as guests, so no one knows who we are? It might be a little more fun that way...

I like that idea of posting as guests for a Masquerade thread. The main problem with that is that since we would be as guests, couldn't someone else post as our characters to fool our dates? But since we have Moderators over there now, that could easily be fixed so maybe we could try that. Hmm need to think over that for awhile... good idea. Maybe have it with a time limit and have everyone reveal who they are when the limit is over? Perhaps we should move this discussion about the Masquerade thread over to the SRP board? So that other role players that don't post here can put in their input and express interest?

We could try that sometime, right now I'm more interested in trying that Masquerade idea. If that one doesn't go through then we can try the GI Joe idea.

CB, I was just about to say that. lol That would work, and if someone already has the name someone wants to use, then we could just add like a number to the name. Like if someone wants to be Tarzan but someone already has the name just post as Tarzan69 and tell people to ignore the numbers.

Acyully I have one running now... well it would be if I can ever get Kitten Eyes out of the bed room. Not that I'm complaining you under stand. Theres plenty of characters available.
