Guy in college saves a girl in an alley or something. She gives him scotch or something later on which he continues to drink throughout his life. Her dad tries to give him a check which he declines. Later on he ends up working for the dad as an IT or tech guy I think????? I know in the end of the story he ends up leaving cause she cheated or something and he works with 2 guys he knew from college and she eventually finds him.
