Looking for a story I can't seem to find I believe its broken up into multiple parts.
Might not be 100% accurate of what I remember:
A man and his wife divorce. She ends up dating a rich guy. The man finds a fixer upper place on the outskirts of richer community. (Believe in the country side) He befriends an old man who offers him advice and friendship. He meets a rich lady who lives near by. They end up together. He refuses her money to fix up his place. The ex is believe got a lot from divorce or they didn't have much so she traded up. The ex sees his place and wants it, not knowing its his. The rich bf tries buying it but fails. At some point they ex and her man break up. Man and rich lady have a rocky relationship. Ex and rich lady end up being friends and ex eventually moves in. Man and rich lady end up breaking up. I don't remember of the ex ends back up with him.
