I read a story on here about a year ago -
A young woman inherits part of a company when her father dies, but the evil board members are trying to sell out, and shut it down, so she has to avoid a vote and takes off in secret to try to find her uncle in the mountains(?). She heads out on a motorcycle (?) and gets stuck in the snow, and gets saved by a man and his two kids. The man is a children's book author, and his wife (who illustrated his books) ran off with a service man to Nevada, abandoning them like 2 years previously. The corporate bad guys find her because she uses her credit card at a store, and of course they all live happily ever after.
